Recently Auto Stop Mechanical Repairs Gold Coast had to replace a leaking evaporator coil on a Mazda 6. The evaporator is located behind the dash pad and the blower motor for the cabin heating and Air Conditioning system blows through it’s fins. When the Air conditioning system is working properly the air cools as it passes through the evaporator coil fins and gives cold air at the dash vents.
Here are a few pictures showing the process we went through to replace the Air Conditioning Evaporator and then Recommissioned (Re Gassed) the system
